Online vs Distance Education: What is Valid in 2026?

Digital University is the new trend, but don't get scammed. Know the rules.

1. Can I do B.Tech via Distance Mode?

The Supreme Court of India has banned B.Tech/Engineering degrees through distance mode. If any university offers you a "Distance B.Tech", run away. It's fake.

2. Is Online MBA Valid for Corporate Jobs?

YES.

UGC now treats Online Degrees exactly equal to Regular Degrees (University Grants Commission Notification 2022). Companies like Google, TCS, and Govt of India accept valid Online MBAs.

Condition: The University MUST have "UGC-DEB" approval for the current year. Check deb.ugc.ac.in.
