Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID: Mandatory for 2026 Admissions

The UGC has made it compulsory for all students to create an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID. Without this ID, universities may not process your admission or declare your results.

What is ABC ID?

Think of it like a "DigiLocker for your marks". Every time you pass a semester, your credits are deposited into this digital bank account. If you change colleges, you can carry these credits with you easily.

How to Create ABC ID (Step-by-Step)

1. Visit www.abc.gov.in or use the DigiLocker App.
2. Login using your Aadhar-linked mobile number.
3. Select "Universities" -> "ABC ID Generation".
4. Download the ID card (PDF) and submit it to your college registrar.
